Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) continued their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 on Sunday night as they thrashed Reims 4-0 at the Parc des Princes.
The match was dominated by the French giants, who scored four goals in the first half alone. Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring for PSG in the 27th minute with a powerful shot from outside the box that found the back of the net.
A few minutes later, Neymar doubled PSG's lead with a neat finish after receiving a pass from Mbappé. The Brazilian then added another goal in the 55th minute, this time converting a penalty kick following a foul on him.
The third goal came just five minutes later when Lionel Messi played a one-two with Mbappé before slotting home from close range. The Argentine finished off the rout in the 81st minute with a cool finish from a tight angle.
Overall, it was a dominant display from PSG, who looked clinical throughout the match. They were well organized defensively and created numerous chances for themselves and their teammates. It was a reminder of why they are considered one of the best teams in Europe and why they are always a threat to win major titles.
The win moves PSG up to second place in the table, two points behind leaders Monaco. However, there is still plenty of football left to be played and PSG will need to continue performing at a high level if they want to maintain their title challenge.
